Brands Giving Back to Breast Cancer Awareness and Research in 2024

Updated: Oct 20

Support the Cause Through Your Shopping

Breast Cancer Research Foundation

It's October, which means it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It's an annual campaign to raise awareness and its impact on people, as many of us know someone who has been diagnosed, survived, or lost their battle with breast cancer.

According to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), it's the most common cancer diagnosed among women and the most common cancer globally, where one woman is diagnosed with it every 14 seconds! It's estimated that about 313,510 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States in 2024.

According to the National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC), breast cancer can affect anyone, and familial history of breast cancer, aging, and genetic mutations can increase your chances. That's why early diagnosis with self-examinations or with your physician during your annual visits and regular mammograms past the age of 40 can help save lives.

Many beauty, fashion, and lifestyle brands have products that support organizations that fund breast cancer research, screening, and treatment. I love that these brands are transparent about how much they donate to the causes and which organizations they support. Support these brands, as every dollar makes a difference in someone's life. However, think pink not only in October but all the time.

SPRHRA Breast Cancer Awareness Tee

SPRHRA (Superhera) has decided to formally increase their donation rate to 55% proceeds from their Breast Cancer Awareness Tee to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund to ensure a significant impact in the breast cancer community for October.

Qure Skincare

With every purchase in October, Qure Skincare will give a FREE cosmetic pouch, pink Qure headband, and breast self-examination card as a reminder of the importance of regular screenings and prevention. Additionally, Qure Skincare will donate $2 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation for every sale.

Bloomingdale’s AQUA x Kerri Rosenthal collaboration

Bloomingdale’s new AQUA x Kerri Rosenthal collaboration is a part of their annual Pink Campaign.

The 50-piece collection includes women’s and girl’s ready-to-wear, sleep, home, and accessories in a mix of solid staple colors and fun prints, inclusive of Kerri’s signature heart designs. In celebration of this collection, Bloomingdale’s is making a $25,000 donation to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation

The campaign features past breast cancer survivors and current thrivers, paying tribute to and honoring women who have been impacted by breast cancer; a cause especially meaningful to Kerri as it takes inspiration from her daughter’s breast cancer journey. Bloomingdale’s Pink Campaign and Give Pink, Get More initiative reinforces its long-standing commitment to supporting breast cancer awareness. Over the past 19 years, Bloomingdale’s has raised over $18 million for both the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) and the Tutu Project.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The HOPE Breast Cancer Awareness Pack is near and dear to co-founder Katie’s heart, as her mom passed away from an aggressive form of breast cancer at 55 (she only lived long enough to spend time with her first grandchild). K’lani evokes the spirit of aloha woven into every design and will continue to advocate for the fight against breast cancer.

TheraICE Headache Relief Cap in Original Pink

TheraICE is a proud supporter of Susan G. Komen! In 2021–2026, TheraICE, LLC will donate to Susan G. Komen $50,000 regardless of sales. Their best-selling TheraICE Headache Relief Cap provides a soothing and relaxing feeling via hot or cold therapy as needed with complete 360° coverage. Whether you get frequent splitting headaches or get them occasionally, the common denominator is the need for effective pain relief, ideally without medication. The patented design blocks the light to help with light sensitivity.
